North India Heritage Tour Package

Duration : 12 Days - 11 Nights
Places Covered : Delhi - Varanasi - Khajuraho - Agra - Jaipur - Udaipur - Aurangabad - Mumbai - Delhi

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
At the airport you would be received by our representative with a warm traditional welcome. He would be sporting your name card and you would be able to locate him at the arrival lounge. He would be a person with amicable personality and would take care of all your travel needs from there on. He would escort you to your hotel where you would again be given a traditional Indian welocme. The hostess would put Tilak, a red colour paste and they would also put garlands in your neck. They would all greet you saying 'namaste', a form of Indian welcome with hands folded together.

Every Indian follow the rule of " Athithi Devo Bhav", Guest is god and which they reflect in the form they recieve and greet their guests. Indian Hospitality is impeccable and you can easily see their influence in the hotels you would resort to.

Being your first day, we would recommend you to relax. The hotel room would be comfortable and the services would be good. Read or watch television as this would only day on your tour where you would have some time to pass. Sleep sound in the night to start a beautiful day ahead.

Day 02 : Delhi
After breakfast of your choice at the hotel you are out on loose. A guided tour of the city takes you to the impressive Mughal monuments of Red fort and Jama Masjid at Old Delhi. Go for a exciting rickshaw ride through the bustling streets of Chandani Chowk, a major shopping hub and a whole sale market of Delhi. After this you are amidst the verdure of Rajghat and India Gate.

Later in the evening, you would resort back to your hotel, if possible we would arrange a slide show for you where you would be able to see and watch the great Indian heritage. If not that we would visit the nearest market place. This would be a good way to spend time. Don't worry if you don't want to load your budget, we would resort to window shopping . But one thing is for sure, that you would not be able to restrict yourself from shopping as Delhi markets are quite luring and offers products at attractive prices. Resort back to your hotel . Your food would be served on time. Sleep tight! .

Day 03 : Delhi - Agra
Next morning, we would leave for Agra, located some 200 kms from Delhi. You would take 3hrs to reach the place. We would leave for Agra after breakfast. Our representative would take you the nearest rail head, where you would board an AC chair train to Agra. Railway station in Delhi are bit different from foriegn railway stations. They are more clumsy with hoardes of people around. You would continuously hear the sound of an announcer who would inform about the incoming and outgoing of train on the particular platform. There would be quite few vendors who would be selling tea.

Our representative at Agra railway station would transfer you to your hotel . You would be given an invigorating welcome from the hotel staff. Your room keys would be handed. After lunch we would move out to explore Agra city, quite a famous destination. The first tourist spot which we would explore is Taj Mahal, a world heritage site. The afternoon brings the most engaging of all visions- the vision of the Taj Mahal- the eternal symbol of love, contrived in white marble. A visit to the Taj always makes your heart yearning for your loved one. Just 2 kms from Taj Mahal is another magnificent monument Agra fort. You would not come to know how the time would pass and you would be on your return to your hotel room.

You would be provided your food, if you want, you can try Mughlai cuisine. Mughlai Cusine is bit rich and mostly consist of butter.

Day 04 : Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Jaipur
The show in Agra is not over yet. Agra is not merely about Taj Mahal. It has numerous other things which make it a heritage city of India. Another example is Fatehpur Sikri. The architectural grandeur of this deserted city cannot be described in words and you can only experience the aura of its magnificent edifices by seeing them. Some of the important sights in Fatehpur Sikri are Bulund Darwaza, Panch Mahal and Jodi Bai's Palace. Return back to hotel. Pack your bags, post lunch we would leave for Jaipur through a cab.

Day 05 : Jaipur
This morning, after breakfast, we would leave for Jaipur. On way to Jaipur we would halt at Choki dhani. We would have some snacks here and proceed with our expedition. Our assistant would help you out and would make sure that you get the quality room and service. It is a 5-star ethnic resort modeled on a typical village of Rajasthan. The road drive which you are going to undertake from Agra to Jaipur would be really exciting and you would come across the traditional India, in the form of simple people. You would see people dressed in vibrant colours, most of the time, you would see number of females sporting pots. At some places you would find coloured cotton textile is tied to dry down. Colours like Orange, Red, yellow and green would be quite evident from the entrance into this magnificent city.You often find Rajasthani Men with herds of cattles or goats which nonchalantly grazes the grass. The beautiful Rajasthani women in long skirts with colorful head coverings all decorated in silver jewellery, and their tall men folk in colorful turbans are charming enough to gaze at.

Soon you would come to your resort where you would get a warm welcome from the hotel staff. Resort to your room rest for a whole as in the evening we would venture out to explore Hawa Mahal and its nearest Market. Resort back to hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 06 : Jaipur
Your morning would start with a knock on the door, a hotel member would serve you a drink, probablt tea or coffee depending on your taste. Later, post breakfast, we would plan our our Jaipur tour in a systematic manner so that we could cover all the shades of this colourful city.

The first on your trail would be Amber fort, located 11 kms from the city. The walls and the ceiling of the Mahal are covered with a beautiful array of mirrors, which reflect any streak of light. . We would also visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Evening would be meant for shopping. Don't forget to purchase, tye and dye from these markets. Some of the major Jaipur markets are Jauhari bazaar, Nehru bazaar and bapu bazaar. Bargaining is the buzz word, be sure that you lessen the price by 50 -70% of what the retailers ask.

Late in the evening, your food would be served and along with that you would be able to view a puppet show which would narrate many stories about the state. Resort back to hotel. Over night stay in the hotel.

Day 07 : Jaipur-Delhi
After breakfast, we would leave the hotel and would move on the road which would take us to Delhi. We would directly move towards to airport/ railway station, from where you can proceed your onward journey.
